Contract MAINFRAME TECHNICAL SPECIALIST RFQ DVAICT-090

Skill set Technical Essential:
Experience programming in IMS DB & IMS DC.
Experience in mainframe Job Control Language.
Experience programming in COBOL and SAS.
Experience in Database Administration.
Knowledge of Government Mainframe Development Frameworks & Mainframe Applications.
Knowledge of and adherence to change control procedures.

Services/work required The duties of this role are;

The program is aiming to re-host COBOL, IMS, and ObjectStar based applications into a Java/DB2 end state environment. The initial phase of the project is to identify and remove obsolete code. Therefore this role will be primarily focused on: items is role will initially be focused on:
- Decommission obsolete IMS data.
- Decommission obsolete Cobol source code

Selection Criteria The applicant does not need to directly address the selection criteria as these skills should be clearly evident in their CV.
