Background and Purpose
Service Delivery Reform is about making dealings with Government simpler by giving the public more control over their affairs, and better support and assistance where needed. Services will be automated and streamlined so the public can deal with Government in ways that suit them.
The Service Delivery Reform (SDR) will produce significantly better service experiences for the community. Government will partner with business and the community to reduce the burden on Australians most in need of help and support, and who need to access services across a number of government and community agencies at all levels.
Human Service agencies already offer a range of online services and in response to an ever-increasing demand for this option, the public will be able to do even more by self service. There will be a phased upgrade of core information and technology to work towards the
