Technical Analyst Programmer
at Govt Client in Canberra
Services/work required:
The Specified Personnel will be required to provide, but not limited to, the following services:
The Specified Personnel will be required to provide services including, but not limited to, the following:
Technical staff will be assigned work items under cover of Service First Projects.
They will be required to produce or contribute to high level and/or detailed design documents.
Technical staff will also be required to produce technical specifications, participate in code reviews, provide advice to BAs on specific testing requirements and support the STC throughout the testing cycle within timeframes of each major release cycle.
Methodology Technical Analysts are responsible to nominated team leaders and/or senior technical managers for task assignment, progress reporting and completion sign off.
Timeframes and milestones to be assigned by and agreed with team leader and/or senior technical managers.
All work to be documented in accordance with Centrelink standards.
Performance:
Assigned tasks and applicable project milestones are met.
Specifications to be completed in accordance with Centrelink standards and FMA certification requirements.
Performance will be assessed against specified tasks, monitored on a weekly basis based on reporting to team leader and/or senior technical manager of progress and through specification reviews conducted with internal and external stakeholders.
Documentation: Technical Analyst staff to produce technical specifications in line with the timeframes of each major release. All work to be documented in accordance with Centrelink standards.
Skills Knowledge Transfer: Technical Analyst staff to produce technical specifications in line with the timeframes of each major release. All work to be documented in accordance with Centrelink standards.
Selection Criteria

Essential Criteria must be met to progress in the evaluation, where the Weighted Criteria is scored.
Essential Criteria:
1. Must have experience as a technical analyst in an IT environment.
2. Must have M204 coding experience.
Weighted Criteria:
1. Demonstrated proven experience as a technical analyst in an IT environment.
2. Demonstrated sound oral and written communications.
3. Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills.
