D(iv) Description of Work and Role/List of Roles:

Employment Systems Group, Employment Business Intelligence Warehouse has a role for an experienced data warehouse developer who has a strong knowledge of Centrelink data holdings .
The Employment Business Intelligence Warehouse is an agile and flexible solution built on a SQL 2008 platform with Microsoft BI, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS components. It includes data from DEEWR employment and financial systems and from Centrelink.

E. Selection Criteria:

MANDATORY
Describe your industry based knowledge and experience in the delivery of systems requirements based on the following:

A. Demonstrated SAS and SQL expertise .
B. Highly developed documentation skills, oral and written communication skills.
C. Knowledge of Centrelink data holdings relevant to provision of employment services.
D. Demonstrated experience as a data warehouse professional.

DESIRABLE
E. Knowledge of DEEWR Programmes and data holdings.

F. Timeframes for the Services
12 month contract, begin 1 July 2011.

a. Australian Federal Police (AFP) Police Records Check
[The check will be carried out only for successful candidates.]
Successful candidate(s) will be required to undergo an AFP Police Records Check. This check will be arranged by the Department at the commencement of an engagement of a Contractor. The Australian Government will meet the standard AFP cost.
