PROJECT MANAGER RFQ ICT – 0162

Services/work required:
The Specified Personnel will be required to provide, but not limited to, the following services:
• As member of a “Shared Services” project team, either directly or by facilitation, build various deliverables to achieve transition of ICT services from DVA, and potentially others, to DHS. Specific deliverables may include financial pricing and invoicing frameworks, organisational change plans, communications plans (including stakeholder communications), documentation gap analysis and resolution, HR recruitment support (including skills identification), and process definition and operationalisation.
• The role will operate as a member of an ICT Shared Services team reporting to a DHS project team lead.
Selection Criteria Essential Criteria:
• Demonstrated experience in Project management experience (preferably with the transitioning of ICT services);
• Demonstrated experience in Financial framework experience (development and use of);
• Demonstrated experience in High level face-to-face communication and negotiation skills;
• Demonstrated experience in Technical writing skills and experience;
• Demonstrated experience within an environment of organisational change, and demonstrable skills in managing such change.
Highly Desirable Criteria:
1. Demonstrated awareness of Department of Veterans’ Affairs client servicing objectives, and knowledge of technical environment supporting delivery
2. Demonstrated awareness of Department of Immigration and Citizenship client servicing objectives, and knowledge of technical environment supporting delivery
3. Demonstrated awareness of Centrelink client servicing objectives, and knowledge of technical environment supporting delivery
4. Demonstrated Knowledge of Centrelink Project Management Framework (CPMF)
Any required particular personnel: Not applicable.
Timeframe for response: 2pm, THURSDAY 17 JUNE 2010
Timeframe for required Services: Approximately 12 months
