Services/work required:
The specified personnel is required to provide, but is not limited to, the following services:
The position has a particular focus on
• the design and support of the Windows based desktop SOE used across the Centrelink network environment.
• the operation, maintenance, design, upgrade, planning, evaluation, installation and implementation of Centrelink’s Desktop SOE including applications and the evaluation of potential new products to enhance current design.
Ensure Centrelink policy and guidelines are adhered to in relation to ITIL processes.
Ensure design and technical documentation is maintained.
Selection Criteria:

Essential Criteria:
• Demonstrated technical experience in design, development, testing, certification and release of Windows based desktop SOE designs.
• Demonstrated understanding of application integration requirements and methods.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with the operational use of quality management systems and ITIL systems and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team on specific projects or tasks.
Highly Desirable Criteria:
• Demonstrated minimum 5 years experience and knowledge in the field advertised.
• Degree qualifications in IT or equivalent (MCSE or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintain relevant stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to create, write, develop and review technical documentation, as per Centrelink standards.
Any required particular personnel: Not applicable.
Timeframe for response: 2pm, THURSDAY 17 JUNE 2010
Timeframe for required Services: Approximately 6 months.
