Services/work required:
The Data and Information Management Section requires an IT professional to who is highly experienced Data Administrator. The role may encompass all or some of the following duties:
Technical skills:
1. Database Planning
a. Develop of Data Administration Plan
b. Enterprise data model development
c. Develop cost/benefit models
d. Work collaboratively with other IT professional and interact with Business managers and users.
2. Database Analysis
a. Define and model data requirements
b. Define database operational requirements
c. Define and model business rules
d. Support development and maintenance of Data Dictionary
3. Database Design
a. Perform Logical data model design
4. Database Implementation
a. Specify database access policies
b. User training as required
5. Plan for growth and change
a. Implement change control procedures
b. Evaluate new technologies
Non-technical Skills:
6. Work collaboratively, share knowledge and contribute to a highly professional and enjoyable work culture.
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated experience working effectively as a Data modeller or data /database administrator in a large organisational setting.
2. Demonstrated experience in the analysis, design and implementation of enterprise data models to support complex business needs.
3. Experience working in structured and formal IT Project teams following direction as required from professional project managers.
4. Demonstrated experience in working effectively /collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
A current Protected Level or higher security clearance.
Timeframe for required Services:
Immediate start, 6 months engagement with the possibility of extension.
Other requirements:
Immediate start is preferred however another start time will be negotiated if required.
