Description of Work and Role/List of Roles:
Process incoming calls in an efficient and professional manner; determine the nature of call and direct caller to the appropriate area. Operate switchboard software and learn to use corporate directory and spreadsheets to identify right areas to direct the calls. Participate in quality activities that improve work processes. Update the switchboard procedures manual as well as internal reference databases. Refer all customer compliments and complaints to management. Comply with directives from the Switchboard Team Leader.
Selection Criteria:
1) Experience/Knowledge of working in the Switchboard environment.
2) Experience in Word, Excel, and Internet searching.
3) A customer focused attitude that is conducive to delivering optimum customer service including the demonstrated ability to solve problems and deal with complex customer enquiries.
4) A willingness to work in a busy environment with strong team-player qualities.
Timeframes for the Services: 1ST July 2010-30June 2011
