IT Specialist

Key skills and experience:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Information Technology
- Minimum of 5 years experience across all aspects of Software Development (Requirements, Development, Testing and Deployment)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Software Configuration Management including development and management experience in Rational ClearCase and Websphere Application Development Tools
- Development and Integration experience across a broad range of development environments and COTS products
- Proven experience in the development and management of SOA integration at large scale government organisations
You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Drive project management through technical decisions related to Master Data Management (MDM)
- Act as a liaison between business analysts and technical developers
- Builds/enhances data models and database architecture
- Provide instruction and training to users, prepare process and data flow diagrams
- Assist in developing the MDM Application architecture
- Contribute to the project planning process by estimating MDM implementation tasks and deliverables
- Partner and drive technical design reviews and code walk throughs
- Serve as technical expert on assigned applications; including code, interfaces and data flows
- Facilitate requirements understanding sessions to validate requirements and database design
- Lead discussions with development and business teams regarding design of business processes and associated changes / improvements
- Lead and coach a distributed team
- Coordinates with other IT divisions for interfaces / integrations with MDM
You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required level of security clearance classification.
