freelance Senior Financial Accountant

Set on a private estate, our client is a small Commonwealth agency who is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their small team.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of a range of different accounting functions including:

  • BAS Preparation
  • Financial Statements preparation
  • Portfolio budget statement preparation and DoFD reporting
  • Investment management
  • Travel and Related funds

They will also oversee the operations of the office including:

  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Journals and ledger management
  • Accruals and accrual management
  • Cashbook management
  • Payroll and payroll reconciliation

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a role that will give them exposure to a variety of accounting functions.

Candidates must be Australian Citizens and be eligible to obtain a Protected Security Clearance.
