freelance CUT COPY PASTE Data Migration ( $ 30 Per Hour )

Services/work required Data migration assistants
The ACCC currently requires the services of several people to assist with data migration activities.
This is a junior role on a small project team and candidates will be reporting to the Lead Business Analysts. The migration activity will involve triggering a migration process to move documents from one data store to another, checking progress, responding to standard issues and escalating unfamiliar issues as appropriate.
Training and process documentation will be provided.
We are looking for people with flexible work arrangements as we will be conducting migration during and after business hours.
We expect the work to be conducted in two eight hour shifts using teams of three. Shifts are expected to run as follows:
7am-4.15pm
4pm-1.15am
Each shift will include a 45 minute meal break.
Shifts will run seven days per week for up to five weeks. We expect to run three teams, which means that applicants are unlikely to need to work seven days per week.
Note that our understanding of the volume of work required is currently an estimate and services may not be required for the full contract period.
Selection Criteria Expression of Interest (no more than 1 page)
- demonstrate experience working effectively under limited supervision and management intervention. They must exhibit initiative, add value and drive.
- demonstrate experience with using Windows operating systems and Microsoft Word/Excel products,
- demonstrate ability to quickly gain knowledge of IT systems.
Note that no formal IT background is required however the ability to gain knowledge of IT systems rapidly is essential.
Selection criteria does not need to be addressed separately if demonstrated in CV.
Please provide an Overview of Suitability (maximum three paragraphs) as to the candidate’s overall claims against the Services/work required.

Timeframe for response 2pm Friday 22 January 2010
Please submit applications as soon as they become available. The selection process will begin as soon as submissions begin to arrive and it is possible that all positions will be filled before Friday 22 January. In this case unsuccessful submissions will be held in reserve in the event that we require more staff.
Timeframe for required Services ASAP until 31 March 2010 at the latest. Expected completion is 1 March and not all resources will necessarily be required until either date.
Limitation of liability- cap $10 million (clause 15 of the Standard Contract Terms)
Fee structure Category B – note that we expect rates:
MAX rate $30 per hour excluding GST

Other Requirements
• Specified Personnel must utilise ACCC timesheets.
• Specified Personnel must not exceed the maximum hours allocated against the work order in the performance of services.
• As per the agreement, no travel allowance is payable, and claims for time travelled will need to be agreed to prior to travel. Note that no travel is expected.
