freelance EL1 Asset Accountant, 9 month contract

at Randstad in CANBERRA

* EL1 level * SAP experience necessary * high volume transactions

To be eligible to apply you must have;

* Extensive experience in Asset Accounting, in particular large organisations/government departments; * Experience in the use of SAP and/or comparative accounting/finance programs; * Experience in preparing both internal and external management reports for large organisations/government departments; * Experience in managing/mentoring and development of subordinate staff; * Experience in working in organisations with large asset bases and high volumes of transactions, in particular data analysis & interpretation; and * Experience in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders/organisations.

Our client is seeking someone who, without extensive training can join their successful team seamlessly and has the knowledge to work productively immediately.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain a RESTRICTED security clearance.

Non-citizens/permanent residents will not be considered.

This role is due to commence in January 2010 and run through until October 2010.
